Ravenwood Muniet - 2007 Straight Egyptian, (Ravenwood Majesty by RG Al Mone x Ravenwood Cayla by RG Al Mone), Saqlawiyah Jedraniyah strain, Moniet El Nefous family. Muniet was purchased as a yearling from Ravenwood Ranch Arabians, adding to the Heritage C mare band the ever valuable Moniet El Nefous blood in the tail female line. The Medallela family, from which Moniet El Nefous and El Bataa were born, is well represented in Muniet’s genetic heritage, with 7 lines to those influential mares. Muniet is also an intensely bred mare from the standpoint of her half-brother to half-sister parentage, intensifying the characteristics of superb athleticism, desert character and classic Egyptian type imparted by RG Al Mone. Her sire, Ravenwood Majesty, with relatively limited numbers of progeny, has achieved leading Straight Egyptian Performance Sire status at the Egyptian Event, though his halter winning offspring are numerous as well. With a heritage of strong athleticism through her ancestors Zaafarana, Ansata Ibn Halima and Rashad Ibn Nazeer, Muniet moves with power, balance and grace, swallowing the ground beneath her. She is tall and refined throughout. Her disposition is highlighted by kindness to all creatures, tractability and highly spirited snorting at the slightest provocation. Muniet has recently proven herself to be a broodmare of the most reputable quality, taking care of all duties in this area happily and independently.
