Suseri - 1985 Straight Egyptian Mare, Dahma Shahwaniyah strain, (Ansata El Naseri x Sudiya by El Hadiyi) Our foundation mare acquired as a yearling and with us still as an aged matron, Suseri epitomizes all that is valued in a classic mare of the desert: courage, beauty, athleticism, intelligence, spirit and a connection with her humans. A wonderful broodmare and delightful riding mare, her sire is by National Champion Stallion Ansata Ibn Sudan and out of "Prima Stut" Ansata Bint Bukra, progenitress of the superior mare line. Suseri's dam, Sudiya, was sired by the Gleannloch bred Ansata Ibn Halima son, El Hadiyi, and is a granddaughter of the Ansata El Naseri daughter, Glenglade Dahira, thus giving Suseri 3 lines to Ansata Ibn Halima, 2 lines to Bint Bukra and a tail female line to *Bint Bint Sabah (similar to the Ansata Nile family). Suseri has excellent leg and body conformation, has scope and balance, a well set clean curvy neck, large eye and jibbah and a fine muzzle with large nostrils.
